Chinese Calligraphy, Kite &  Feng Shui Workshops

The following Traditional Chinese Arts including Feng Shui, Chinese Calligraphy, and Paper Kite Making is provided to corporate companies, schools and commmunity events and festivals. These fascinating and historical workshops are held by Grandmaster Tom Lo who has tutored and performed for over 36 years in Queensland.

Circus Workshops

Specialising in bringing theatricatlity and performance energy into the staging of physical skill, these workshops by NIck and Allie,  generally culminate with a performance outcome. Your tutors, NIck Cilento and Allie Wilde, have been running fun, yet  challenging circus and physical theatre workshop series together for almost 10 years .

Clowning For The Actor

Discover the stretchy rubber band reality that is the Clown! In this workshop, students will discover their inner clown (everybody’s got one!) and have each other rolling on the floor laughing one minute and ‘awwing’ in sympathy the next. This training is incredibly rewarding for both the actor and the person.

Combat Workshops

IZIT? has some of the best combat tutors in Australia. The Combat workshops are exciting while instilling discipline and coordination skills.

Drama workshops

The drama workshops will concentrate on the physical and mental engagement of the actor with his fellow artists and most importantly, the audience. Honesty, integrity and communication form the core basics of acting. Through a series of exercises drawn from years of experience as a professional actor and director students will learn how to engage, share and ultimately be truthful in their acting .

Drum Workshops

African drum Workshops by Austin, who considers himself an Earth citizen, he can relate to the people of the world through a unified language called music. He can gasp the concept of absoluteness.

Indonesian / Japanese - Francis Gillfedder

Francis is a multi-talented artist performing in a variety of genres, from Didjeridu to Shakuhachi, playing unusual wind instruments from Japan, Laos, Vietnam, India, Indonesia, Thailand, North America, the Phillipines and Australia.

Glee Workshops

Be challenged and enjoy the excitement and adrenaline of an American Glee Club (think Glee TV show). These workshops will focus on 2 or 3 songs and all based on a specific emotion be it romantic, alone, inspired etc.

Indigenous Art Workshops

Murals or exhibitions, these workshops are available for schools, youth centre and festivals combining skills in visual arts, storytelling and music.

Marimba Workshops

WHAT IS A MARIMBA? A marimba is wooden xylophone with piped, buzzing resonators under the keys or tone bars to create more volume. The benefits of marimba playing are known to be social, psychological, therapeutic and musical, with connection to other people in a group being intrinsic to the marimba experience. The workshops are fun, positive and socially creative experience for all ages.

Mask Workshops

Mask & clown workshops for all ages. It's all about non-verbal communication as a means of short-circuiting the censoring, logical brain, and developing physical expression, ensemble spirit and group-devising skills. Through a series of exercises students will work together in silence to create theatre, and just watch their expressiveness increase as the workshop unfolds.

Musical Theatre

The Musical Theatre program will explore theatre, music and singing processes on a variety of levels, providing excellent opportunities for individual and ensemble development.  Under the expert tutelage of Dania Cornelius and Raymond Lawrence, students will work intensively on breathing and singing techniques to improve skills and confidence, and develop a kineasthetic awareness of the processes required for good singing production.
